Terms of use

These terms describe how Family Task Hero is provided and the rules for using it, including the subscription, purchase, and refund details that apply to the web (Stripe) and iOS (Apple) versions.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (the parent or legal guardian who creates the account) and Vybra App, the company that operates Family Task Hero. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

On Apple platforms, this document also serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) required by Apple, in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies by default to apps distributed through the App Store.

2. Family workspaces and accounts

Only a parent or legal guardian may create an account. Children participate inside a parent-managed family workspace and do not receive separate sign-in credentials. The parent is responsible for the accuracy of information added to the family workspace and for supervising children who use the app.

3. Subscriptions (Family HQ Premium)

  • Title: Family HQ Premium auto-renewable subscription.
  • Length: One month per billing period unless a different length is shown at the point of purchase.
  • Price: Family HQ Premium is $10.00 USD per month on the web. The price shown at the point of purchase applies, and prices may vary by country on iOS.

Web (Stripe). When you subscribe on the web, payment is processed by Stripe and charged to the payment method you provide. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Family HQ plan billing page, which opens the Stripe billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals, and your premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

iOS (Apple). When you subscribe in the iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it from Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device. If an introductory offer or free trial is shown at purchase, its terms appear at that time, and any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.

Web and iOS subscriptions are billed and managed independently. Use only one of them per family; do not subscribe through both channels for the same family.

4. SUPER Premium books

SUPER Premium books are one-time purchases — processed by Stripe on the web, or as a non-consumable in-app purchase on iOS. A purchase unlocks the book for the family workspace where it was bought and remains available to children in that family until the family workspace is deleted.

5. Refunds

Refunds for web purchases (Family HQ Premium and SUPER Premium books) are described in our refund policy. For purchases made through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled by Apple under their policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, on the web or in the app. This immediately removes the family workspace, all child profiles, mission history, completions, summaries, story books, uploaded proof photos, and your authentication record. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription — cancel your Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS) subscription separately before deleting the account if you no longer want to be billed.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to abuse payment systems, attempt unauthorized access, attempt to reverse engineer the app, or generate or share content that is harmful, illegal, or inappropriate for children. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for accounts that threaten the reliability, safety, or legal compliance of the product.

8. AI-generated content

The app uses AI to generate weekly summaries, story chapters, and cover art that you request from inside the family workspace. Output is generated on demand and may contain errors. Parents are responsible for reviewing AI output before sharing it with their child.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your home country or state.

11. Apple-specific terms

When the app is downloaded from the Apple App Store, you and Apple acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Vybra App, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support, no responsibility for product warranties, no responsibility for product or third-party intellectual-property claims, and no responsibility for investigating or responding to product-liability claims related to the app. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
